Greg Lee became a Christian in late high school, but only started going to church during university because of a girl named Emma.
They’ve since gotten married and had four kids. Greg started ministry as an MTS apprentice in 1994, and since 2000 he has been involved in training over 70 apprentices as the Senior Pastor at Hunter Bible Church.
What does the Bible say about God’s plan for men and women as they serve Christ together in ministry?
Thinking biblically about God’s sovereignty and our responsibility in ministry. How does understanding God’s sovereignty shape our actions and attitudes as we share the gospel with others?
Concerns about family, finances and our own sense of adequacy can cause us to think twice about taking the next step to serve Jesus. Should they?
How do I know if I should be considering full-time Gospel Ministry? What should I be doing, asking and praying now to find out?
Pete became a Christian thanks to the faith of a mum, the courage of a mate and the persevering grace of Jesus. For the last 12 years he’s served as a Campus Team Leader with the AFES university mission and has loved being part of God’s raising and training of apprentices there.
He’s married to Erica, has four great kids and on days off enjoys cutting all electronic access to the outside world – unless in the form of televised sport…

Due to the impact of COVID across Australia in the last few weeks, the MTS Recruit Committee has decided to close all Public Local Conference Gatherings in Australia, meaning you will receive a full refund of your ticket cost in the following days.
Despite the sadness of not being able to gather in person, we’re overjoyed that technology still means we can meet online, face-to-face. However, in light of the current circumstances, we believed that the most helpful and loving thing to do for Ministry Workers is to significantly reduce the Program and leadership elements of MTS Recruit.
The 2 remaining elements of MTS Recruit’s program are the evening sessions with Greg Lee (7:30-9pm) and the mentoring discussions, which you will arrange a time for with your mentor.
Please confirm below whether you will be joining us online, or would prefer to cancel your registration.
Due to the uncertainty surrounding the ever-changing COVID-19 pandemic both globally and across Greater Sydney, our MTS Recruit Committee has had to make the difficult decision to no longer host MTS Recruit at Katoomba Convention Centre (KCC).
Since you were registered to attend at KCC, we have refunded your registration. The refund should be processed within the next few days if it isn’t already.
If you would still like to attend MTS Recruit, you can choose to transfer to another LCG, otherwise you can cancel your registration.
Please choose one of the options below.
This is so that Local Conference Gathering (LCG) hosts have time to register their LCGs and make the necessary arrangements before public registration opens.
For now, you can register your LCG using the “Host” button, or you can register your interest to be emailed when public registration opens at the start of May using the button below.
